Alcoholic extract obtained by cold maceration of the respective plant part in hydroalcoholic solution.

Available as 30ml or 100ml blue glass bottle with pipette cap.

 


Ingredients

Water, ethyl alcohol, alcoholic extracts and extracts of

  • Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), contains Eucalyptol (=1,8-cineole), camphor, alpha-pinene. Large amounts lead to coma, tonic-clonic convulsions, altered patellar exe, attenuation of pupillary exe, vomiting, gastro-enteritic complaints, uterine bleeding, leukocytosis, renal irritation, albuminuria, in severe under pulmonary edema to death (Roth/Daun- derer), concrete case reports on this are not available (Hager); preparations, mainly in combination of complex composition, were used for abortions. Case reports from which a causal relationship between the ingestion of rosemary and abortions can be deduced are, however, not known. Experimental studies that would allow an assessment of the risk are also not available. (Hager)
